This Acceptable Use Policy defines the boundaries, conditions, and prohibited activities regarding the use of CYPHEX platforms.
1. API Usage Limits & Rate Control
To preserve server response velocity and guarantee high availability, all public and private API endpoints operated by CYPHEX are subjected to automated rate-limiting policies:
- Standard Tier Limit: Maximum of 60 requests per minute per IP address.
- SaaS Integration Pipelines: Subject to custom limits negotiated under specific enterprise service agreements.
- Bulk Scraping: Automated scraping, high-concurrency loops, or unauthorized data harvesting that triggers denial-of-service alerts is strictly forbidden and will result in automatic IP isolation.
2. Content & Media Compliance
Users of CYPHEX software tools, including media search plugins, must respect intellectual property rights. By utilizing our media libraries or third-party search integrations:
- You agree not to query, scrape, or process media files that promote copyright infringements, illegal activity, or hate speech.
- You acknowledge that automated vision AI processing (including Image Hunter's alt-text generator) is provided to augment site metadata. The user is ultimately responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all AI-generated content.
3. System Integrity & Security
No user may engage in activities designed to compromise the security and stability of our hosting infrastructures. Prohibited actions include:
- Introducing malware, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious code.
- Attempting to bypass access controls, execute SQL injections, or conduct network port scans without explicit engineering permission from the CYPHEX security response desk.
- Utilizing custom scripting nodes to execute packet injection attacks or load-testing without a pre-approved security ticket.
4. Policy Enforcement & Remediation
CYPHEX reserves the right to investigate any violations of this policy. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the immediate suspension or permanent termination of API tokens, service licenses, or account access, alongside legal remedies where applicable.
