1. Concept & Strategy

Bismillah Cosmetics manages thousands of product variants (shades, skin types, sizes). Traditional Shopify templates experience severe performance delays when rendering color swatches and variant selector grids. The client wanted a high-speed storefront built from scratch, prioritizing mobile shopping speed and clean usability.

2. Technical Implementation

CYPHEX engineered a custom Shopify Liquid architecture focusing on efficient variant routing:

  • Asynchronous Variant Loader: Color swatches and product variants load dynamically on interaction, keeping the initial HTML payload size minimal.
  • Instant Search and Filters: Embedded lightweight client-side collection filters, decreasing product lookup times to under 120ms.
  • WebP Image Optimization: Automated image generation pipeline that converts cosmetic photography and packaging graphics to WebP formats on-the-fly.
  • Micro-interactivity: Implemented smooth vanilla JS drawer layouts for active filters and mobile navigation tabs.
